the SeaBus. The passenger ferry across Burrard Inlet between downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver. A short crossing that joins two shores that can see each other but do not otherwise meet.
From downtown you can see North Vancouver across the water all day long, and plenty of people on each shore have never done business with the other. The SeaBus makes the crossing in a few minutes. A circle like this one is the same idea: two business owners who can almost see each other already, and somebody who knows them both to carry the introduction across.
Every club has an idea like this one, and it belongs to the place rather than to us. It is not a slogan we handed out.
