The Mexico-USA Coaching Bridge is the Mexico and USA leg of My Most Trusted, hosted by Richard Morden. A warm introduction is the only way to meet someone here. No bots, no spam, no cold outreach.
Tequio. From the Nahuatl tequitl, work. In Mexican communities tequio is the work each person gives to the community, unpaid, because the community is theirs too.
In many Mexican towns, when a road needs mending or a neighbour needs a roof, people turn up and do it together. That is tequio. Its everyday form is mano vuelta, the returned hand: I help you with your harvest, you help me with mine. Nobody keeps an invoice. The help goes round, and over time everyone is carried by it. This Bridge works the same way. Members bring what they know, coach and support each other's businesses, and introduce each other to the people who can help.
Every club has an idea like this one, and it belongs to the place rather than to us. It is not a slogan we handed out.
Richard Morden holds the Mexican end of the Bridge, from Morelia, Michoacán. He is a life transformation coach and has run his own practice, Quantum Approach, since 2016, and he is a co-founder of Time Sweeps, a method for recognising and releasing the patterns that keep people stuck. He is a certified EFT and NLP practitioner, and his work centres on boundaries and conflict resolution. He began in corporate work at Honda. Before Mexico he lived in Barrie, Ontario, where for three and a half years he was a member of BNI Barrie Business Leaders and sat on its visitor host team. He writes two newsletters on LinkedIn, The Embodied Alchemy Framework and The Listening Circle.
Richard Morden is a real person in Morelia, not a logo. That is the point. Somebody has to know both people for an introduction to be worth anything.
