A business networking club for Calgary, Alberta, hosted by Kerry George of CIBN Connect. It meets online and in person, runs on its own website, and is part of My Most Trusted.
YYC. Calgary's airport code, which the city uses as its own nickname.
In YYC the club calls itself Calgary business networking with results: a network like no other, meeting online and in person, where members make trusted connections with each other.
Every club has an idea like this one, and it belongs to the place rather than to us. It is not a slogan we handed out.
Kerry George hosts the Calgary Business Network. She is chief executive of CIBN Connect, the business networking organisation the Calgary club belongs to, and she built the Calgary Business Network after taking over a local networking group. She is the author of the networking book Smart Networking (2024).
Kerry George is a real person, not a logo. That is the point. Somebody has to know both people for an introduction to be worth anything.
